Pain and/or injury with feedings
Baby weight concerns
Worried about not making enough milk
Bottle feeding (returning to work, combo feeding, etc.)
Pumping help
Night feeding
Weaning
Starting solids

Wherever you are in your feeding journey, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

“My baby was 6 weeks early and struggling to latch on and nurse. Nila was supportive of what worked for us. She helped us feel reassured and calm. After working with Nila, I felt I could enjoy my time nursing instead of stressing about how many mls she was getting. Our baby is able to nurse and we can enjoy our feeding/snuggling time!” - Lindsey R.

Nila is amazing!! We struggled with weight gain and Nila set up a personalized plan and helped us find out the root of the problem. She is responsive, knowledgeable and so kind! I would have given up on my breastfeeding journey if it weren't for her. I cannot recommend her enough!

Nila is the best! She really helped me and my baby through a difficult time. I had severe postpartum anxiety. My daughter had a tongue tie as well as a congenital birth defect called laryngomalacia. The combination made breathing and nursing really difficult for her. Nila was so calm and knowledgeable. She helped me feel confident and empowered to nourish my baby while also taking care of myself.

      Hi There!

      I’m Nila

As a registered dietitian and lactation consultant, I knew feeding my baby—both as a newborn and as they grew—would come with challenges. But I expected support when I needed it.

In the hospital, the lactation consultant took a quick glance at my latch, said it looked fine, handed me a flyer, and disappeared. When I got home and real problems set in, I had no referrals, no local resources—just me, trying to figure it out.

Later, when my toddler gagged on purees or flat-out refused meals I had carefully prepared, it was just me – again, trying to figure it out.

Outside of short, optional breastfeeding classes during pregnancy, no one really teaches us how to feed our kids. And yet, feeding them—from birth through childhood—becomes one of the most time-consuming and emotionally charged parts of parenting.

For all families, I want that time to be filled with connection and confidence, not frustration or feelings of failure. My goal is to help parents navigate feeding—whether breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, starting solids, or managing mealtime struggles—so they can feel empowered and enjoy these moments with their child.

      When to Start Solids

At what age should you introduce solid foods to your infant? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends introducing solid foods at around 6 months of age. And to expose them to a wide variety of healthy foods and textures. Two key words stick out to me when I read...
