Services

  • Initial Visits

    Our first visit together is up to 90 minutes (120 minutes for twins) and includes:

    relevant maternal and infant health history

    infant oral assessment

    baby’s weight measure (pre/post feeding)

    assistant with latch and positioning

    assessment of breast and nipple health

    bottle feeding strategies

    individualized education and feeding plans to meet your needs and goals

  • Follow Up Visits

    Typically a 60 minute visit (90 minutes for twins) to reassess feedings and growth and progress toward your feeding goals.

    Includes additional education, support, and/or referrals you may need.

  • Prenatal Consults

    These 60-90 minute appointments are great for first-time parents or those with previous lactation difficulty.

    We meet near the end of your pregnancy and get all your feeding questions answered so you feel confident going into delivery. I provide education, individualized recommendations, and help clarify expectations.

  • Childhood Nutrition

    These 60 minute appointments are your time to discuss any nutrition-related topics you are struggling with. Some ideas include:

    introduction of solids

    baby-led weaning

    picky eating

    healthy mealtime routines

    appropriate expectations for toddler eating

    healthy meal and snack ideas that don’t break the bank

    growth concerns

    healthy relationships with food and bodies

Insurance

We accept most insurance plans.

**home visits require a $25 travel fee that is billed separately and not covered by insurance**

If you have any of the following insurance plans, Nila partners with the Lactation Network and your appointment costs may be covered:

  • BCBS PPO

  • Anthem BCBS PPO

  • Cigna PPO

  • United Healthcare

  • Multiplan logo on card regardless of carrier

  • PNOA logo on card regardless of carrier

Self-pay is an option if your insurance cannot be billed.

I offer discounted self-pay rates and accept payment with FSA/HSA cards or credit cards. Rates below.

Superbills to seek insurance reimbursement provided. (Amounts reimbursed for lactation services vary between companies and plans. You are responsible for determining out-of-pocket costs before your appointment).

Self Pay

Self Pay Fees:

$175 for initial appointment; $125 for follow-up appointments. +$25 travel fee (plan for 90 minute appointments)

Twins: $230 for initial appointment; $165 for follow-up appointments. +$25 travel fee (plan for 90 -120 minute appointments)

Payment must be made at the time of scheduling. If you have a Provider One card or participate in WIC, ask about my sliding scale rates.
